I went to the city with my best friend Katie yesterday. It was so much fun. It was too much fun. I have not had a chance to hang out with Katie in months. We are crazy together. We are too crazy. We both brought our cameras. Bad idea. Katie and I go crazy with our cameras. Every time we hang out we have ridiculous photo shoots. We harass people with our cameras. Yesterday we got our cameras out when we were right by Rockefeller Center, the busiest place in the city this time of year. We started yelling celebrities’ names at people and kept taking “paparazzi” pictures of them. Katie got some really good pictures. There was one guy running down the street and Katie yells, “Oh my god! Jennifer Aniston!” The guy leaps in the air mid-stride and posed for us. Katie took most of the pictures while I kept yelling, “Oh my god! (insert celebrity here) I love your work!”
I spent the night at Katie’s house on Saturday, before we went to the city. We went to Sonic. She had never gone before. I got the cherry limeade. It was amazing. We also went to White Castle at around midnight. Her dad came home from a holiday party and told us he was craving White Castle. Those little burgers are so disgusting. They are so greasy and grimy, but they are so tasty and I just kept shoveling them in. I had a really good weekend. =]

Journal Topic: What would you do with three wishes?
What would I do with three wishes? Of course anyone’s first wish would be to ask for more wishes. Usually when it comes to wishes there are rules that strictly prohibit this, so I am not going to wish for any more wishes. Three will have to do, for now. My first wish would be to receive a full scholarship to college. I’m not talking basic four year college. I want a full ride to my masters degree. This would preferably be at Ramapo, that’s my favorite school. My second wish would be to get a job. I have been applying to places like crazy lately. Unfortunately I am not 18 yet and I haven’t had a job before so that’s probably why I’ve been having some difficulty being hired. Now when I say I wish to get a job I don’t mean at McDonalds or Shop Rite. I want a job at a store like Home Goods or Coconuts. A place that does not sell food or clothes and that is not in the mal. Why? Because I would eat the food and get fat, buy more clothes with my discount than make money, and the mall has too many stores for me to shop in during break. By getting a job I have a way of making money, not just getting a lump sum to spend right away. I would have to take some time with my third wish. Some things that come to mind are getting straight As for the rest of this year or a new car. As far as the car goes it doesn’t have to be an elaborate car. An Acura TL would be nice, but I’d be just as insanely happy about a nice new Ford Fusion or Mercury Milan or Lincoln LS. My dad works for Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury. That’s why I like those cars, because I would never have to worry about taking it to a mechanic because my dad could just fix it at home for free. Straight As would be nice because then I wouldn’t have to try.

Babysitting
I just got home from babysitting my neighbor a half an hour ago. My neighbor is five years old, and her name is Summer. She is the only kid that I baby sit. If you did not know, I do not like children. I do not want to have kids. Well that was just two and a half hours of hell. I have baby sit her before. It was not this bad. She was younger, we watched Madagascar, and then we spent an hour playing “I Like to Move it Move it” over and over again dancing to it. That was tiring, but very enjoyable. Now that she was older we actually had to do more than one thing the entire time. For about a half an hour she just wanted to play with my cell phone. Well my cell phone is my child. It was expense and I do not have insurance on it so I take very good care of it. She kept ripping it out of my hands and pushing really hard on the touch screen. I did not want to be mean so I had to keep coaxing it out of her hands. She was taking pictures, shooting movies, playing the games, messing with the music, and typing with my phone. It was the worst. She also has a DS. She kept making me play this one game repeatedly so that I could win her money. After a while the game would not let enter anymore competitions. I told her she had to wait until tomorrow, but she was persistent on me playing the games. My goodness, I am just glad to be home.

Journal
Since it is Thursday we are in the computer lab during creative writing, so our daily journal entry is going on our blog. I usually write a bunch of paragraphs in my journal all about different things. I like being random. I’m sitting on a computer chair. It is very comfortable because it has a lot of cushioning, but it is made so that you can lean back. Sitting in this chair is a constant balancing act. The minute I shift my weight backwards the chair leans back and I’m thrown backwards. Why do they have to design chairs like this? Why would anyone want to work on a computer in that kind of position? That is worse on your body, back and eyes, than it is to sit up. t is very frustrating.
Frustrating. I remember I started pronouncing the “R” after the “F.” Everyone made fun of me, but I was like, “If that is how you spell it, shouldn’t you say it that way?” Speaking of word pronunciation I used to say breakfast wrong for the longest time. I would pronounce it breaffix. I notice that a lot of people do that, including my mother. Well this is all for now, I’m off to Mrs. Morrison’s blog to write about movies.

Yoga
I just got home from the gym. My sister came with me. Before we left we decided on going to kickboxing. My sister changed her mind once we got there, so we ended up going to yoga. I love yoga so much. It is my new favorite hobby. We ran into my third grade teacher there. She was like, "I'm so glad you're into yoga, and starting so young. I wish I started at your age." She is by far one of the nicest ladies I have ever met. Her voice is just so friendly and soothing. She should be a yoga instructor. The best part of yoga is the last 5 minutes. It is a meditation time. Some instructors come around and relax your shoulder and next by gently massaging them. They always put some kid of lotion or oil on their hands. It smells so good. I get so bummed when the instructors don't do that. This was the first time my sister went to yoga. She liked the last part of it, but has not said anything about the rest of the class. I hope she enjoyed it as much as I did. That way I’ll have a yoga partner. I feel so happy and calm and at peace right now. I need to memorize all these positions so that I can do yoga every day before school.

Update: Volleyball Banquet & Britney Spears
I have been neglecting blogger. I told myself that this marking period I would blog often so that I didn’t have to hurry to catch up. I guess I have just been really busy. Last Tuesday was our volleyball banquet. It was a good time. The seniors got a bunch of gifts: a pillow, a super soft fleece blanket, and posters with our name and number and pictures of us. The mothers got us all sweatshirts with our names on them. Zuech also got the whole team drawstring backpacks. I was named defensive player of the year. I got a volleyball with our volleyball logo, my name, and what I had won. Zuech puts together a video every year with pictures and clips. This year’s video was really long. I really enjoyed watching it, especially because I was in it a lot.
Today is December 2. It happens to be Britney Spears’ 27th birthday. I watched the premeir of her documentary on Sunday. It made me feel really bad for her. She was really sad throughout the hour long documentary. Her new album Circus also dropped today. Of course, I went out and bought it. Britney Spears is not my favorite artist. I am more of a rock fan than her pop, but I love her. I grew up on Britney Spears. I am absolutely rooting for her; she is making a comeback. Her CD is really good. I also recently got the new Shiny Toys Guns CD. That is an excellent CD. They went a totally new direction with this CD and I love it! Well that is all for now. I am off to the gym. I have not decided if I am taking the kickboxing class at 7 or the yoga class at 7:15. I think I am feeling yoga, but I could definitely use the harder work out that is kickboxing.
