Journal

Since it is Thursday we are in the computer lab during creative writing, so our daily journal entry is going on our blog. I usually write a bunch of paragraphs in my journal all about different things. I like being random. I’m sitting on a computer chair. It is very comfortable because it has a lot of cushioning, but it is made so that you can lean back. Sitting in this chair is a constant balancing act. The minute I shift my weight backwards the chair leans back and I’m thrown backwards. Why do they have to design chairs like this? Why would anyone want to work on a computer in that kind of position? That is worse on your body, back and eyes, than it is to sit up. t is very frustrating.
Frustrating. I remember I started pronouncing the “R” after the “F.” Everyone made fun of me, but I was like, “If that is how you spell it, shouldn’t you say it that way?” Speaking of word pronunciation I used to say breakfast wrong for the longest time. I would pronounce it breaffix. I notice that a lot of people do that, including my mother. Well this is all for now, I’m off to Mrs. Morrison’s blog to write about movies.

Hi Jen. So I also love The Lion King. I also agree that it has he catchiest songs. I used to beg my parents to take me to see the movie, but they wouldn't take me. They said once only. But anyway, I agree that a good children's movie is one that has jokes that a adult can laugh at, and that children laugh at it, even though they do not understand it. I agree that it is the best movie ever made!

The Lion King was my first ever movie, and I cried because I wanted to see it again. Seriously, I still watch it and laugh at some of the jokes. Nathan Lane is one of my favorite actors, and his preformance of Timon is perfect (What you want me to do, dress in drag and do the hula? LUAU!). Its jokes and plotlines are adult and meaningful, the characters are absolutely hilarious, and the songs are top notch. ("WHEN I WAS A YOU WART-HAAAAWWWG!" "Very nice," "Thanks"). THIS MOVIE ROCKS!

Omg! I love the Lion King. I do agree it is the best movie ever. The songs are great, too. Simba is a great character along with all the others. I love the humor they use. They make me laugh. But the only thing that got me teary eyed was wen Mufassa died. This is a great movie for all ages.

The Lion King is one of my ALL TIME FAVORITE Disney movies. The animation in it is phenominal. I love the story and characters, and I still have a Baby Simba Stuffed animal from when I was little. The Lion King is such a touching story that, shows just how far a family member will go for power. I can't lie. Scar is one of my all time favorite Disney Villians.

The Lion King is a good movie... From what I've heard. I'm sure it's a sin and I hate to admit it, but I've never watched all of it. I have seen bits and pieces of it. I remember loving Nala? and the song Hakuna Matata... it means no worries, for the rest of your days? Something like that. Meybe I'll con my nephew into watching it with me this weekend.

Haha, I know what you mean. Those chairs are terrible! I had a non-lean back chair and when I leaned back I always fell until I broke it. Maybe they don't want the kids to break them so they make then uncomfortable?
My grandma always says butatoes instead of potatoes. Although maybe that isn't as bad as breaffix. Haha
