Babysitting

I just got home from babysitting my neighbor a half an hour ago. My neighbor is five years old, and her name is Summer. She is the only kid that I baby sit. If you did not know, I do not like children. I do not want to have kids. Well that was just two and a half hours of hell. I have baby sit her before. It was not this bad. She was younger, we watched Madagascar, and then we spent an hour playing “I Like to Move it Move it” over and over again dancing to it. That was tiring, but very enjoyable. Now that she was older we actually had to do more than one thing the entire time. For about a half an hour she just wanted to play with my cell phone. Well my cell phone is my child. It was expense and I do not have insurance on it so I take very good care of it. She kept ripping it out of my hands and pushing really hard on the touch screen. I did not want to be mean so I had to keep coaxing it out of her hands. She was taking pictures, shooting movies, playing the games, messing with the music, and typing with my phone. It was the worst. She also has a DS. She kept making me play this one game repeatedly so that I could win her money. After a while the game would not let enter anymore competitions. I told her she had to wait until tomorrow, but she was persistent on me playing the games. My goodness, I am just glad to be home.

Hey! This is a bit belated, but I'm a procrastinator. I loved your description of The Loin King. It does absolute justice to the movie. I can't say that I've seen it in the theaters, but I absolutely love it. =]

I know what you mean about little kids. I have all younger cousins agaes varying from 2-10, and I always get stuck watching them. My cousins who are ages 3-9 are the worst. I cannot put up with them half the time. When they are younger, it is easier to sit down with them, put on a movie and sit there and watch it. Meanwhile, we are sitting there praying that they would fall asleep watching the movie.

I love kids...to a certain extent. It depends on who it is I guess. I used to babysit this girl named Holly and her little sister (who was only like 3 months.) But, I had to play with them for like a half hour and then put them to bed. Putting them to bed was like pulling teeth. Holly wanted to do everything on her own, so it took 45 minutes to brush her teeth, get pjs on, and read a story... Uh, it was the worst.

Ah, yes, kids can be quite a handful!
Luckily, the two I babysit are used to me,
and usually cooperate.
They're nice kids-
the only problem's that the three year old occasionally throws a temper tantrum!
Anyway, I've decided that when I have kids,
they'll be trained to be perfect!
And I'll treat them as equals, and teach them to be cool like me. <_<
Okay, so being addicted to Anime and video games isn't that cool.
But still.
